Each year the Mayor supports a number of Charities and in 2010/11 these are:-

Christian Outreach Relief and Development (CORD)

Help for Heroes

The Mayor will be working with the above Charities to arrange a number of local Fundraising events. Details will appear on this page in due course. Members of the public are most welcome to attend and support these worthy fund raising initiatives

The Mayor hosted a Charity Theatre Evening for a performance of "Noises Off" at The Loft on Thursday, 15 July 2010.  He was delighted that a total of £1,000 was raised for his three charities.  Grateful thanks are extended to all who attended the evening and contributed so generously to the raffle.  The Mayor would also like to thank the actors for a superb performance as well as the staff  of the Loft for their assistance in ensuring a successful evening.  Finally, sincere appreciation is given to those businesses which provided raffle prizes, including the Royal Spa Centre, Apollo Cinema, Sainsbury's, Piccolino's Restaurant and the Royal Leamington Spa Town Council.
