On Saturday 2nd July from 1.30pm - 3pm, Leamington will host a Spa celebration outside the Royal Pump Rooms.
The Mayor, Councillor Ann Morrison, will commence proceedings with the dedication of new Mosaic Panels with water from the source of the Town's old Spa. The Mosaics have been produced by volunteers taking part in a local workshop organised by the Positive Signs Project and were funded by Leamington Spa Town Council. They will remain outside the Pump Rooms for the duration of the summer as part of the Town’s participation in the Leamington in Bloom competition.
There will be music from the Cubbington Silver Band, and, adding some traditional flavour, a performance by the “Plum Jerkum” Border Morris.Dancers. In addition the staff of the new Wilko store which is opening in the Royal Priors will be in attendance and will be handing out free steel hand trowels to the public. There will also be a live broadcast with local radio station Touch FM from the event with interviews etc.
Come along and celebrate Leamington’s Spa and collect your free trowel!
