Flooding advice

If you are concerned about the possibility of your home or property flooding, there are a number of sources of helpful advice.

The Local Authority for Leamington Spa which is responsible for the initial response in the case of flooding is Warwick District Council. The Council can be contacted during office hours on 01926 450000. Out of office hours please use the standard Emergency telephone  number for Fire/Police etc.

Warwickshire County Council provides useful information on how to prepare for a flood and measures to take should the worse happen. This information together with links to the Flood Information Service can be accessed here

For those residents residing within Leamington Spa, empty sandbags can be obtained free of charge from the Town Hall, Parade, Leamington Spa between the following hours:-

Monday-Friday 8.45 - 17.00 

These sandbags are unfilled - local builders merchants will supply sand or soil from your garden can be used with equal success. A limit of four sand bags per household is supplied.

Please bring some proof of identity with you (Council Tax/utility Bill etc)
